Owner and State Certified Contractor Jeffrey Hales is a lifelong Northwest Florida resident who has been serving the local community since he opened his waterproofing business in 2004. He began his career specializing in waterproofing solution services along the Emerald Coast's southern Bay and Walton counties with many projects along Scenic Highway 30A.Jeffrey built upon his waterproofing knowledge and success with Water Tight and expanded his business to include construction of custom homes, home renovations, and roofing in Northwest Florida. He became a Florida State Certified Building Contractor in 2006 (CBC1255982) and a Florida State Certified Roofing Contractor in 2010 (CCC1330220).
Working one-on-one with customers and providing personalized quality construction and roofing services have been the hallmarks of Jeffrey’s award-winning business. He and his team offer waterproofing solutions for the entire building envelope, roof replacements and repairs, as well as new custom residential construction and renovations specializing in kitchen and bathrooms.
As an Emerald Coast native born and raised in Panama City, Florida, Jeffrey knows and thoughtfully serves the communities of Northwest Florida ranging from Panama City, Panama City Beach, Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe and Cape San Blas to Scenic Highway 30A, Freeport, and Niceville. His integrity and commitment to excellence have not gone unnoticed. In 2024, he was honored by Panama City’s Gulf Eagle Supply with the President’s Club Award for demonstrating fiscal responsibility and making impactful contributions to the roofing and construction industries in WaterTight’s region, specifically in Northwest Florida.
When Jeffrey isn’t running WaterTight and working with his crews and customers, his top priority is time with his family – his wife Holly and two children. He loves watching and coaching his children in their sports activities, hunting, and boating on the beautiful Emerald Coast waters.
